Honduras Team, Completes Building House!

Work continues at the Hope Center for the Go Honduras Team. The big news is that we completed building the house for the family! On Tuesday, we installed windows, roof and the gutter system. We also built a new latrine for the family. On Wednesday, we installed the door and painted the house. The house looks great and the owner is so happy that she´ll be moving in the by the end of the week. We will be bringing in some furniture and food for her family and will have a house dedication for them on Friday.

The school year in Honduras begins this Friday and the kids are getting ready. The Hope4 Honduras organization sponsors an after school tutoring program called Hope Academy. On Wednesday, the children who are enrolled in the program received new backpacks and clothing to get their school year started right! We also led the women´s bible study which meets twice a week at the Hope Center. The study provides spiritual guidance and inspiration for the women in the community who often face many hardships.

Our team is so privileged to support the daily operations of the Hope Center. From sacking corn to providing a cup of warm food to the children in the streets, Christ continues to reveal himself here in the hearts our team, the Hope Center staff and the people of Mogote.

Thank you for praying with us!

The picture looks like a native New York. Beautiful country and very compact. We are praying for excellent weather for all. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever”
    (Ephesians 3:20-21, NAS)
You have much invisible help also.
