Christy and Giulian grew up 1,917 miles apart, living two very different lives, until they were brought together by God’s amazing providence through an on campus Bible study at Cal State Fullerton. They recently married in January and will both be graduating this May with Bachelor Degrees; Giulian in Kinesiology and Christy in Latin American Studies.

Giulian was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where he dismissed ideas of God as soon as he was old enough to not let his mother drag him to church. However, upon moving to San Diego in 2005 God started a work in Giulian and graciously transferred him into the Kingdom of his Son. This set Giulian’s life in an entirely new direction when about two years later he felt God’s call on him to pursue vocational ministry.

Christy was born and raised in League City and has been striving to follow Christ since she began attending Clear Creek in the summer of 2001. Not long after that she discovered her passion for missions and church-planting on a short-term trip to one of the Haitian barrios in the Bahamas. Since then, she has taken part in various church-planting and Kingdom growing initiatives around the world including Ukraine (with Clear Creek), Bolivia, and Mexico.

Together the two have dreams of planting churches and spreading the name and work of Jesus throughout the world. The two now reside in Fullerton, California and are pursuing training that will equip them to be competent ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the steps they are tentatively planning to take is a six month internship with International Teams at a church/community center in Cochabamba, Bolivia around February of 2010. They look forward to seeing what God has in store for them and will be sharing with the CCCC community all the work that God is doing through their lives.

Stay tuned to track with their journey as they make their way to Cochabamba…
