2010 CCCC GO Trips: Mission accomplished!

CCCC sponsored several Go Trips in 2010 to Ukraine and Honduras! Here is a summary of the year…

Ukraine City Clean Up – May 2010

CCCC members spent several days working with our partners in L’viv to clean streets and parks in the neighborhoods near the newly planted Trinity Church. This project coincided with Ukraine’s May 1st Labor Day celebrations and offered an opportunity to interact with local citizens and share the gospel.

Ukraine HIV/Aids Camp – June 2010

CCCC members had a unique opportunity to work with young adults afflicted with HIV/AIDS. Working with Trinity Church in L’viv, our team was able to engage campers in various activities such as sports, arts, and crafts, as well as counseling them on living with their disease.

Ukraine ESL Camps – July/August 2010

For the fourth consecutive year, CCCC helped lead English Language (ESL) camps in Western Ukraine. This summer, the Go Ukraine team led two week long camps. The first camp targeted junior and senior high school age children; the second camp targeted university students. Camp activities included English lessons, worship, and partnering with members of Ocean Church in L’viv on an array of games and activities. This camp continues to see many young Ukrainians come to faith in Jesus!

Go Honduras – August 2010

The Go Honduras team spent a week working with the Hope for Honduras organization in Mogote, Honduras, a mountain side community of 50,000 people located just outside the capital city of Tegucigalpa. The team helped build and dedicate a new home for a needy family, feed children each morning, help with the women’s ministry and children’s bible classes, stock & inventory medical supplies in the clinic, and distribute 6500lbs of food to approximately 300 families!
